What is service to others? What is the golden rule? Kids will explore kindness through art projects at this half day of camp. As always, camps at the Art Center are focused on fun, and the different ways an artist can express themselves. We spend our time making art projects in a variety of media, practicing drama, story telling, dancing, playing organized games, as well as having free imaginative play time. If weather permits, we go to a local park after lunch. Our camps are for ages 5-11. On half days, we pick up children from SA and IAA at 11:30am and walk them to the art center.
We will pick up children from SA and IAA on half days and walk them to camp! Please be sure to inform the administration and your child's teacher that a representative from ONE Arts will be picking up your child from school. We will email you the names of the teachers picking up.
Children must bring and wear a mask. Please bring your child in clothes that can get messy, or bring a smock from home. Pack a full change of clothes, plus seasonal weather appropriate clothes and gear, such as snow pants, hat, scarf, and gloves. We do spend time outside and we want the kids to be comfortable. Please pack a large lunch with additional snacks and a large water bottle or other drink. Drop off and pick is done one family at a time, so if someone is already in the space dropping off please wait outside or in your car. Adults also must wear masks inside our space.
