Class Experience

On this half day of camp, students will paint a flower pot and plant some seeds inside to tend at home.

Teachers will pick up students at SA and IAA at 11:30 and walk them to the art center. Students from other schools are welcome and maybedropped off at 11:45.


Additional details, such as camp teacher contact info, will be emailed to families before camp begins.

We offer after care 3-5:30 if we get at least 3 sign ups. If you suspect you will need after care, please sign up in advance. We may not be able to accommodate last minute requests, unless we already have enough sign ups. Thanks!

Sample Class Format

What To Bring

  • Wear clothes that can get messy or bring an old tshirt to wear over top of clothes

  • Food and water bottle. We'll have a snack time and lunch
  • Appropriate outdoor weather gear so your child will be comfortable spending time at local playgrounds.

Meet your Instructors

James B.

James has been teaching both children and adults since 2017. He currently runs classes both online as well as with other in-person studios in the area. Before teaching, James worked in entertainment art from 2011-2015 doing comics, and storyboards and he currently does book covers and licensed holiday art when he is not teaching. He is a huge fan of scifi/fantasy and teaches cartooning, painting and basic drawing.

Jennifer P.

Jennifer has a plethora of experience working with and teaching families and children from birth to elders. Her extensive career in the Arts includes: professional dance and theater, exhibited painting & photography, published writing and spoken word. She enjoys cultivating space for others to explore their own artistic paths while providing new experiences. She holds an MA in Education, is a Master Yoga Educator & Birth Specialist, and is currently writing and illustrating a children's book.
