This summer class is offered to female High School students. Upon completing this class, students will receive 1/4 of a credit hour for Physical Education. The Ohio Department of Education requires two 1/4 credit hours in Physical Education classes for graduation. The content includes, but is not limited to, the following:

safety practices
components of physical fitness
health problems associated with inadequate fitness
levels
psychological values of physical fitness
including stress management
evaluation of physical activities in terms of fitness value
benefits derived from participation in physical activity.
F.I.T.T. Principle

Students must attend in person at least 9/10 classes to fulfill course requirements. There will be make-up work if any time is missed during this class. Students must attend 54 hours of class in person to fulfill course requirements. Students are expected to be on time. If a student is tardy by arriving later than 8:10 a.m. more than four times, the student will not receive credit for the course.
