Practice days and games will be held twice a week on Tuesday/Thursday or Monday/Wednesday, depending on which team your child is placed on. Practices will be held at Oakland International High School indoor gym, and at Park Day School. There may be an occasional game day on a day other than regularly scheduled days listed above. These changes are dependent on league requirements, and we e will know more in December when we hear from the league.

You will be notified of your child's team placement by Tuesday, Nov 20. SIf a team does not meet its minimum enrollment and is cancelled, families will be notified and reimbursed. As with all competitive sports at Park Day, players gain an understanding of sportsmanship, teamwork, collaboration, commitment and healthy competition.

TRYOUTS (International High School Gym, staff will walk JV players to tryouts, and students must meet at the Magnolia Circle promptly at 3:15pm)

-Girls JV Tryouts: Monday, November 12, 3:30pm-5:00pm
-Girls Varsity Tryouts: Monday, November 12, 5:00-6:30
-Boys JV Tryouts: Tuesday, November 13, 3:30pm-5:00pm
-Boys Varsity Tryouts: Tuesday, November 13, 5:00-6:30

Official Practices will start the week of November 26th and end around the week of March 4th. Your child’s practice days will depend on the team that they are placed on.

Regular Season Practice Schedule:
Varsity Girls:
-Monday @ Oakland International 3:30pm-5:00pm
-Tuesday @ Oakland International 3:30pm-5:00pm

Varsity Boys
-Monday @ Oakland International 5:00pm-6:30pm
-Tuesday @ Oakland International 5:00pm-6:30pm

Getting to Practice:
Student athletes that have a 3:30pm practice start time will walk with their coach and team to Oakland International High School (4521 Webster St. Oakland, 94609). If your student athlete has a 5:00pm start time, it is your responsibility to get them to the practice. Please be on time to pick up your child. If you are late, coaches will wait 10 minutes past the pick up time and will walk your child back to ASAP to wait for your arrival.

Games:
The game schedule will be announced in December and will be posted on Parent Square.

Getting to Games:

Refunds: Please make your selections carefully. You can cancel your child’s registration prior to Nov 21 and will then receive a full refund, less $25. No refunds will be available after Nov 21. Financial Aid: If you qualify for Financial Aid of 40% or more, please request a financial aid registration code by contacting Danielle.herrera@parkdayschool.org. This is the same code you received at the start of the school year, so please search your inboxes before contacting Dani.
