Private Lessons are by invitation only and are offered only when necessary. In most cases, private lessons are considered temporary until the student can be placed into a Group Lesson. Though private lesson students are given the same material as the group lesson students, the private lesson student misses out on many of the benefits: building confidence in public performance, the sense of teamwork, accountability and the much needed musically social experience that is lacking in private piano lessons. The Simply Music Piano Method is designed to maximize the likelihood of students acquiring and retaining music as a lifelong companion.

What is the goal?
For students to:
- Experience playing as a natural self-expression
- Play a broad repertoire that includes classical, contemporary, blues, jazz, accompaniments and more…
- Learn to “self-generate”, i.e., progress independently as musicians, and have a strong foundation in music reading and theory
- Have a highly positive, self-affirming experience
