

Thank you for considering Scenic City Clay Arts for your private pottery experience! To request a class, please complete the inquiry form. A team member will reach out within 5–7 business days to discuss scheduling based on staff availability. Please note that private classes are subject to instructor capacity, and some requests may not be accommodated.
Please note that submitting an inquiry does NOT book a class. A class is not booked until SCCA has confirmed workshop details with you and payment is made.
Planning Details:
- Requests require at least 2 weeks’ notice for scheduling.
- Classes are priced as flat-rate workshops, based on group size and activity.
Pricing & Duration:
- 1–2 Participants: $250 flat rate for a 2-hour session.
- Additional Participants: $100 per person for groups larger than 2, up to a maximum of 9 participants total.
Wheelthrowing Workshop Highlights:
- Open to ages 11 and up.
- Learn the basics of creating pottery on the wheel, including forming cylinders and bowls using essential throwing techniques.
- Students select up to 4 pieces to be fired and glazed by our team, ready for pick-up in 4–6 weeks.
- Wheelthrowing classes accommodate up to 8 participants.
- Classes can only be hosted at SCCA's classroom location.

Duration:2 hours
Upon scheduling of your class or program, you will be charged a deposit for 1/4 of the total program fee. Deposit must be paid within three (3) business days in order to reserve that date on SCCA's schedule. If deposit is not paid within three (3) business days, the reservation will be cancelled.
If you cancel your reservation less than 72 hours prior to the scheduled date and time, you will not receive back your deposit.
If a lesser number of students attend than were priced in the deposit, the final total can be adjusted in the final invoice.
Final invoice is to be paid at time of program or through online invoice. Final invoice must be paid within three (3) business days of the program date.
SCCA will not begin firing and completing your ceramics pieces until final invoice is paid.
