Drop off your miniscribbler for two exquisite hours of art exploration! We'll spend the beginning of our morning getting acclimated to the studio surrounded by a variety of sensorial materials and exploratory stations of "loose parts". These stations will encourage sorting, collecting, hand-eye coordination, socialization, experimentation with cause and effect and of course, fun! Activities will tap into the innate joys of toddlerhood. Who wouldn't want to spill piles of beans or rice back and forth between containers for a while?!? After about 45 minutes, we'll come together for a quick morning meeting and healthy snack followed by an art lesson. We'll work with paint, sculpture, collage and printing materials for the second part of our morning creating multi-layered pieces of artwork over a series of classes.
