Description
Drawing is all about seeing; a good illustrator is someone who observes the world around him/her in an effort to better understand how to render the 3-dimensional world onto the 2-dimensional page. In this class, we'll be using a variety of different drawing tools to explore line quality to create both observational and abstract drawings. We'll work on developing traditional drawing skills including accurately depicting depth, shadow, texture and detail as well as experiment with scale, contrast and mixed media to find our own unique artistic styles.
Notes:
Some out of class drawing may be necessary to complete projects.
