Young artists, because of their size (smaller than the average adult artist for the most part) LOVE to work big. And that inclination is right on. Line and shape, the most basic (and also quite complex) fundamentals of drawing are so much more fun to examine when they're blown up at a large scale. In this class, we'll be doing both abstract and representational drawings but BIG. We'll explore all the materials and tools that reveal the amazingly beautiful possibilities of those fundamentals (line and shape) including sumi ink, liquid acrylic, graphite sticks and more.
