Class Experience
Love is in the air and we're excited to share it with you. We invite you to join us to make is this beautiful Love Quilt in honor of Black love (celebrated 02.13.22) and Valentines day (02.14.22). It can be used as a throw, a wall hanging, or whatever your heart desires.
In this class you will learn the basics of quilting using charm packs, cutting 5 in squares, half triangle squares, and more techinques that we're sure your love. This is a beginner friendly course and we welcome everyone to participate.

Class Requirements
- Supply Kit Includes:
- 2 yards of Kona white cotton (quilt top)
- 6 yards of black double folded bias tape (binding)
- Two Charm packs assortment of 70 5” X 5” African print cotton blocks (quilt top)
- Assortment of 16 6” X 6” African print cotton blocks (quilt top: 14 half-triangle and 2 half square)
- 60 x 60 inch piece of batting
- 3 yards of African print fabric (backing)
- *1 6” X 6” Kona white cotton fabric (backing label)
(Additional supplies not included in kit)
Basic quilting and sewing notions and tools: sewing machine, cutting mat, rotary blade, acrylic rulers, pack of small sticky notes, 1 spool of neutral color thread (grey or beige)

Attend class via Zoom video
This class will be hosted on Zoom video conferencing platform. You will receive an email 30 minutes before class starts with a link to the class and access instructions. We recommend you make sure your device is up to date and meets all system requirements before class.
