Rising Leaders Summer Program provides intensive training in critical thinking, research, consensus building, and teamwork. We put these skills to work with hands on projects, activities, and field trips. This program offers a uniquely inclusive, collaborative, and fun environment fostering introspection, applied global awareness, and active multidisciplinary learning.

EFFECTIVE ARGUMENTATION
This session is devoted to constructing and interpreting arguments. Students will master both an analytical research-based approach to argumentation as well as a moral, philosophical approach. They will use the debate formats of Public Forum and World Schools debate to present their ideas. Participants will learn to effectively research topics, construct convincing cases, and use rhetoric to drive points home.

Students should bring a lunch and water bottle each day. We will provide nut-free snacks each day. All materials will be provided.
