This 3-hour class provides a thorough skillset of sewing with a serger/overlock machine. You will be threading, understanding the differential, understand thread tension and usage of the settings, working with different types of fabrics, and much more.

All supplies are provided in the class fee. Supplies included: practice fabrics, thread and tool notions.

CLASS TERMS & CONDITIONS

All classes unless stated include; sewing machine, thread, scissors, seam rippers, measuring tapes, rulers, irons, chalk, sewing needles and class specific presser feet. Minimum age for class participation is 16, unless accompanied by parent. Please make sure that Sips N Sews has your current contact information on file to contact you in the event of a change in the class schedule.

Class curriculum is designed for Sips N Sews members, non-member participants are subject to studio use fees and supply fees (contact Sips N Sews for more information regarding non-member fees.)

If class enrollment does not meet our minimum, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the class, you will be contacted via email with any changes. Full refunds will be given for classes cancelled by Sips N Sews.

All classes are subject to change, please contact Sips N Sews for current information. Refunds for active classes are valid only when request is 72 hours or more prior to scheduled class time, refunds will have processing fee of 5% deducted from balance.

No make up or rescheduling of classes for participants that are late or miss a session. Sips N Sews does not guarantee a finished project at the end of the class program. Sips N Sews does not provide additional studio time or guidance to non-member participant.
