All supplies you need are included in this 3 1/2 hour class, as the Step #1 on your sewing journey, you will be expertly guided through what you need to know before your fabric gets to the sewing machine.

The Sewing Machine; we start with the on/off button, then thoroughly cover each feature with explanation and demonstration, encouraging the confidence you need to understand and conquer the ability to use a sewing machine while understanding the steps along the way are like; the Anatomy of a Sewing Machine, troubleshooting, how to understand the machine settings, threading and bobbins. Hands On sewing practice sheets focus on showing you the importance of fabric control, following seam allowance guides, keeping your seams lines straight, being able to sew straight stitch, zigzag, curves, and corners.

This class will provide an intense curriculum for a solid foundation for your ability to understand the equipment needed to develop a sewing skill.

CLASS TERMS & CONDITIONS
All classes unless stated include; sewing machine, thread, scissors, seam rippers, measuring tapes, rulers, irons, chalk, sewing needles and class specific presser feet.

Minimum age for class participation is 16, unless accompanied by parent.

Please make sure that Sips N Sews has your current contact information on file to contact you in the event of a change in the class schedule.
Re-scheduling or refunds for active classes are valid only when request is received 72 hours or more prior to scheduled class time. No make up or rescheduling of classes for participants that are late or miss a session.

Any reservation that participant arrives late to the scheduled class time or participant is a NO show to the scheduled class will be considered services rendered, and are not subject to refund or rescheduling.

**All promotional discounts for class fees are invalid at the time of voucher expiration. All rescheduling requests dated after voucher expiration will invalidate the promotional value, additional class fees will apply. **

If class enrollment does not meet our minimum, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the class, you will be contacted via email with any changes. Full refunds will be given for classes cancelled by Sips N Sews.
