Description
In this course, students will acquire research skills to prepare debates, story telling and reports to work on oral expression. As research shows that oral production is the point of departure for language production, this class will allow students to work on their "speaking muscles," the most important in terms of foreign and second language maintenance. The linguistic objectives align with the DELF A2 Junior level. Just as with the composition class, students will explore informal, neutral, and formal registers and the nuances between the written and spoken word. While this course is designed to complement the Advanced French Composition Course, and it is recommended to also enroll in both for best results, even joining one of the classes will lead to significant growth for the students. Designed for students in grades 6th - 8th.
