Description
This art class provides a wonderful atmosphere to practice French listening and speaking. While building French vocabulary in an immersive environment, students will work on art projects and learn about art history from prehistoric to modern times. During each session, students will study a well known masterpiece and its place in art history. Afterwards, they will create their own interpretation using the techniques and materials specific to the time period.
The students will experiment through painting, printmaking, drawing, self portraits, collage and much more! This is a wonderful opportunity to boost the acquisition of the French language and actively discover different art media. The language objectives are most closely aligned with the DELF A.2 Primary level.
