Sara Benjamin, a senior chess teacher from "Chess at Three," teaches through fun interactive stories that develop vibrant characters associated with each piece and explain the way the piece moves. As children grow in experience and ability, our stories branch off into larger adventures that introduce strategy, the importance of fair play, and many other aspects of the game. Many studies have shown that chess not only positively impacts spatial reasoning and problem solving skills but consistently improves test scores in both reading and math. Instruction is in French, which is great for building vocabulary and comprehension!
