Discover the science behind every scoop! Brownies will explore how their five senses help them experience food through taste tests, smell challenges, texture experiments, and colorful candy activities. Girls will learn how chefs and ice cream makers use the senses to create memorable treats before designing their own flavor combination to share with the group.

Girl Scout Brownie: Budget Builder Badge Workshop
Become the manager of your very own ice cream shop! Brownies will create a budget, price menu items, make change, and decide how to earn, save, spend, and donate their profits. Through fun challenges and role-playing, girls will build confidence with money while learning the basics of running a small business.

Girl Scout Brownie: Inventor Badge Workshop
What would the next great SOMA Sweets creation be? Brownies will brainstorm, sketch, and build an exciting new ice cream flavor, candy creation, or shop experience. Along the way, they’ll learn how inventors solve problems, test ideas, and improve their designs before presenting their creations to the group.
