Turn the Oven Off: Fun meals and tasty treats that won't need the big heat. From banana cream pie to pico de gallo, we'll be chopping and chilling this week!
Spoonfoolery Summer Camps are a chance for school-age children to spend a half-day each day over five days learning the gamut of kitchen skills. We emphasize knife skills, kitchen safety, reading and following recipes, and various cooking techniques. Every weekly session highlights the importance of following directions, sharing equipment, and learning fun facts about our food. Students work in pairs and learn to share tasks equally while making the recipe. Be prepared to take a little something home every class!
This is an IN-PERSON class to be held at Spoonfoolery's West End Location. We follow all necessary COVID Safety guidelines for in-person activity, as directed for Day Care and Fitness Centers, which is the category under which we fall.
