This 12 week group class with Mrs. Katherine Miller is for beginners who are interested in learning to play the violin or those who have just begun lessons. Mrs. Miller will teachproper violin position, bow hold, posture, learning to play on open strings, and eventually with fingers.
Practicing at home as well as listening to the Suzuki violin recordings is an integral part of the class.
Families are responsible for their own violin rental or purchase. If you need a loaner for the first few sessions, MANC may be able to accommodate this request, please contact the camp office ASAP.
*Tuition includes Student Showcase Recital recordings, participation in our Student Showcase Recitals and/or Adult Student Socials, and community performance opportunities, as well as discounted rates for MANC Competitions, Guest Artist Concerts, Faculty Concerts, and other enrichment opportunities offered at MANC throughout the year.
**Please make note of MANC's no refund policy Students are expected to continue lessons for the full trimester. If it becomes necessary to withdraw from instruction for any reason, the student must provide written notice of termination to the Director of Student Relations. Refunds will only be issued during the first 14 days of enrollment, and The Music Academy will only refund the tuition paid (registration fees are non-refundable), and the refund shall be reduced by the cost of two lessons. No refunds will be issued to any student who withdraws after the second week of lessons. Tuition credits may be offered in cases of withdrawal due to special circumstances and will remain on the family’s account for one year. Families on the payment plan are responsible for paying the remaining balance on their account.
