At Rocket City Academy, we believe that each child deserves the opportunity and support to succeed and excel. Each child receives individualized academic support by trained, certified, and experienced educators. We create an individualized learning plan based on the child's strengths, weaknesses, and interests. This allows us to ensure that students are able to learn and reach their personal academic goals. We focus on developing innovative methods to help students succeed and feel better about their studies. We believe in strong academics, creativity, compassion, and social support. Our classes promote organizational and planning skills to help with task completion as well as improving motivation and confidence in our students. Our team is also knowledgeable in the neurocognitive, behavioral, and social factors associated with ADHD, dyslexia, ASD, and other learning differences. Students will receive an academically strong education tailored to them and their needs.

Rocket City Academy utilizes a unique scheduling system that decreases student stress and increases opportunities for extra help and studying. We use a trimester system with core classes being the focus in the fall and spring trimesters and elective classes being the focus in the summer trimester. Having a summer trimester helps prevent "summer slide" from occurring, which is the decline of academic skills over a long summer break. Due to our small class sizes and individualized learning plans, our school day is only four hours long Monday through Thursday. This schedule will help students relieve stress and increase productivity.
