This class is designed for students who have no experience with tap. We will focus on the basics of rhythm, tempo, counting music, and basic footwork including shuffles, flaps, paradiddles, irishes, shirley temples, maxi fords.

Tap II builds on the basics that students have learned in our Tap class. In this class we review basic steps and begin to double things. (Double Irish, Double maxi ford, double shuffles, double cramp rolls, etc) But it isn’t just about the steps! We begin to develop upon rhythm, tempo, syncopation, performance expressions, and building our ankle muscles.
