Guest teacher, author, illustrator, and motivational speaker for kids, Stacey Montgomery, will be teaching classes for kids ages 9 and up for the month of September on Thursdays from 12-3pm. Included with the class is her own fun book, “Discovering my own Superpowers”. She guides students in the introspective process of thinking and journaling about the gifts each person has and how to use those gifts to make a difference! She will also have lots of hands-on fun activities and teach illustration classes. As always, there will be arcade breaks as needed. Please bring a snack. The cost is $100 for four weeks of Thursdays in September ,12-3pm. Siblings are $80. Press “going” to hold your spot. You may pay using any method, but there is a 3% fee for credit card payments.
A younger class for ages 3-8 will be taught by Tammy Edwards using Stacey’s materials, but will be on their level intermingled with role-playing, science experiments, drawing, painting, writing, and games! Please comment the ages of your children so we know what class for which to register them.
This club will meet every Thursday for the school year (except holidays) and will focus on literacy, creative writing, poetry, speech, debate, and art. Each month will be a different curriculum, theme, and/or instructors! You may sign up one month at a time.
