Ceramic Garden Markers

Make your own plant/herb/garden markers in our clay class.  Create up to 12 markers for use in herb boxes, planted pots, or in your garden.

In this 3 hour class, we will have multiple shapes to cut out your stakes from slabs of clay. We also have an assortment of textures,  stamps, stamped letters, and decorative ways to customize your pieces. Feel free to bring your own stamps and texture rollers/sheets to customize your art.

The use of dozens of underglaze colors will be available during the class to use on your garden stakes. The backs of the garden markers will be left unglazed.  You may choose to decorate your garden/herb markers with permanent texture and glaze decoration, or choose to leave your markers blank, or blank/colored. If you leave your markers blank you can use permanent markers to customize your pieces after the clay is fired, so you can change them up many times. (Just use rubbing alcohol to remove the marker and remake your mark)

These markers should last many years with proper care, and are a great way to add your own personal art to your plants and gardens!
