Class Experience
Decorating 101 is Sweetology's educational decorating class. Learn a new skill each week and practice what you learn by decorating a cake, cupcakes, or cookies. Classes are offered every other Friday from 6:00-7:00 PM. Each class is a unique and fun activity for any age!
Class Requirements
- Beginners welcome. The class will move at each person's pace.
What you'll learn
- Smoothing the sides of cake
- Working with fondant
- Creating cake borders
- Making rosettes/flowers out of buttercream
- Decorating cookies with royal icing
- Color matching with buttercream
- Adding drip to the top of cake
- Piping skills
Sample Class Format
- Classes will run for one hour. Each student will receive materials at the beginning of class. The Sweetologist will teach that week's skill and students will have time to practice before beginning to decorate their final product. Students will get to move at their own pace and incorporate their own creative ideas into their designs.

Your class fees are 100% refundable up to one week prior to your class. If you have to cancel after one week we will credit you for the class to enjoy another time.
