Make Your Own Wedding Bands
This private workshop is for one couple looking to make their very own gold wedding rings to wear and cherish for a lifetime. You will be lead by goldsmith Meredith Bigatel to size, shape, solder, and polish your handmade, solid gold rings. You can choose between a high polish finish, hammer texture, or brushed, satin finish.
Previous metalsmithing experience is helpful, but not required.
Materials are included in this package. You can choose from 14k White, Yellow, or Rose Gold. Price might increase due to larger ring sizes, or request for thicker bands, and for selection of white gold.
Please note in your request the ring sizes of you and your partner, your preference of gold color, and desired approximate millimeter thicknesses of rings.
If you choose white gold, please request an additional hour. White gold is a harder metal, and is therefore more difficult to form and solder.

There will be no refunds or cancellations due to the cost of custom materials being ordered. You may reschedule your workshop if an emergency comes up.
Because of the skillset that is required to properly solder gold without melting the material, the instructor will heavily assist or solder your rings for you. If you elect to solder the gold yourself, you acknowledge the risk involved, and Sweetwater is not liable for melted or damaged materials. You will not receive a refund or replacement materials if the student melts or damages the materials beyond use.
