Stuck in our homes, what is our favorite way to communicate? For some it may be texting, for some it is video chat, for others it is a good old fashioned phone call. What do all of these have in common? They can all happen over the phone!
Welcome to Telephone Hour, a series of short plays written by our playwright-in-residence Dave Hudson about how telephone communication has evolved over time. In this Performance Workshop class
students will have the chance to rehearse and perform this play in its entirety. With detailed attention to script and character development, students will have the opportunity to work as an ensemble putting together a small show. This class will culminate in the performance of Telephone Hour for invited audiences. This class meets on BOTH Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm - 8:00pm. Students are expected to attend both class rehearsals days but only need to register on Monday.

Note: In order to stay consistent with social distancing practices, our Spring classes will all start as virtual classes run through Zoom. Luckily, as our play is about communicating over the telephone, a virtual class environment suits the needs of this performance well! Over the course of the 5 weeks we will reassess when or if we are able to reconvene classes in our studio. Virtual Classes can run with flexible times depending on the needs of our class participants.
