Join our incredible Forest School Association endorsed trainers from Huathe Forest School in England, as they "cross the pond" to provide us with the very *first* USA-based Forest School Leadership training, right here in NY!

This intensive course, based on the highly successful Scandinavian Forest School model will be a mix of theory and practical actions and skills and will begin your 200 hour accredited course ensuring your ability to lead a forest school.

Training dates: July 10th-July 18, 2019 from approx. 8:30am-5:30pm. Additional digital training support will be provided for up to a year after training dates.

Location: The Center for Environmental Education + Discovery (CEED) in Brookhaven, NY

Cost: $2300 (payment plans are available upon registration)

More about our Forest School Association endorsed trainers: Carol Middleton and Elizabeth Swift are the co-founders of Huathe Forest School and are qualified as Forest School leaders and the Forest School Association endorses their Forest School training. They are also University lecturers, teachers and Early Years Professionals and experienced in mentoring and nature connection learning with over 30 years of experience.

Alongside Forest School training and delivery, Carol and Elizabeth lecture on Early Years best practices at degree level and speak regularly at conferences and workshops around the world. They are recipients of the prestigious TACTYC (Training, Advancement and Co-operation in Teaching Young Children) award for their work using Forest School to support children transitions in school.
