During this 90-minute, hands-on Jeweler Badge Workshop, scouts will explore jewelry-making through guided, age-appropriate activities while completing multiple Jeweler Badge requirements.
Girls will:
Learn the tools of the trade, exploring common jewelry tools, materials, and basic techniques used by jewelers
Create stamped metal jewelry, using metal stamping tools to personalize a bracelet, tag, or charm
Design preserved fruit earrings, learning how everyday and natural materials can be transformed into wearable art
Explore jewelry from another culture, discussing how jewelry can hold meaning, symbolism, and tradition across different communities
Create a sparkling gift, choosing one finished piece to give to a friend or family member to complete the final badge step
Each scout will leave with multiple finished jewelry pieces and a stronger understanding of design, symbolism, and craftsmanship.
All materials, instruction, setup, and cleanup are included. The workshop is fully guided by The Clubhouse team.
