Class Experience

Drop your kids at the shop for a day of good old fashioned making and doing. Each day off is a different art, craft, or DIY theme that will keep your child happy & engaged. We provide loads of creative fun, outdoor playtime & a safe, supportive atmosphere for exploration.

March 11th: THINGS THAT MOVE
In this maker challenge day, campers will be tasked to make a creation with moving parts. Car, truck, fantastic toy or machine, the options are endless but we'll help guide your kiddo to maker motion magic!

March 12th: MAKER MOTION CON'T.
Campers may continue their things that move or start new projects.

March 26th: SCRAP WOOD SPRING
We'll make hangable spring scenes using our huge scrapwood stash.

SPRING BREAK: (Find registration for these days on the Sawyer calendar)
March 29th-April 2nd
>PIRATE PARTY
This camp has been on our list of awesome ideas for years. In this afternoon club, makers will explore all things pirate-related. We’ll make treasure boxes, costumes, swords, papier-mache shoulder parrots, and a miniature pirate ship complete with peg doll pirates, polymer clay sharks. Arggg, matey! In this process play class, makers will have access to a wide variety of materials, tools, and techniques to create their own pirate world.
Come for a day or the whole week!
April 5th: WIDE-OPEN WHATEVER!
Makers will have access to a whole shop full of supplies to make whatever they please. We're here to help with advice, direction, and idea starters.
