Class Experience

Drop your kids at the shop for a day of good old-fashioned making and doing. Each day off is a different art, craft, or DIY theme that will keep your child happy & engaged. We provide loads of creative fun, outdoor playtime & a safe, supportive atmosphere for exploration.

Register by the day

Thanksgiving: Nov. 22nd-26th (Closed Thursday)

  • Monday: Balance Boards: We'll learn basic woodworking techniques when we build our own wooden balance boards. Makers will sand, assemble, and paint their rockin' balance boards.
  • Tuesday: Scrapwood City: We'll use all sorts of scrap wood to create a set of buildings. Makers will imagine their scene, then design, cut, sand, and paint their set. Take them home for hours of imaginative fun.
  • Wednesday: Attitude of Gratitude: This is our annual day of gratitude. Makers will be tasked to think about the people in their lives that they're grateful for while they create fabric banners, centerpieces, and or their own thoughtful gifts of gratitude.
  • Thursday: CLOSED
  • Friday: Wide open whatever! We'll provide all the craft supplies your kiddo needs for a day of open-ended build-play. We'll also provide loads of support and idea starters. Nothing bigger than a bread box goes home:).

Winter Break: Dec. 20th-Jan 3rd (CLOSED 12/24)

  • Dec 20th: Get ready to celebrate the Solstice by making classic tin can luminaries.
  • Dec. 21st: We’ll create star and snowflake wall hangings using strips of reclaimed wood
  • Dec. 22nd: Our annual holiday shop is back! Bath and Body Gifts-Homemade Soap and Sugar Scrubs. Using a melt and pour base, we'll create our own recipes for unique and relaxing soaps.  We’ll learn all about how to mix, make, and scent our own all-natural bath and body products. Complete with DIY wrapping paper.
  • Dec. 23rd: Needle felting was all the rage around the shop this past summer. We’re bringing it back to make a whole family of needle-felted gnomes.

  • Dec. 27th: Polymer Clay and Shrinky-Dink Snow Globes
  • Dec. 28th: Sew with a Sweater. We’ll use our stash of upcycled sweaters and sweatshirts for kiddos to design, cut, and sew their own stuffies, pillows, or button bags.
  • Dec 29th: Board (Bored) Games.  Ahhh, winter break.  Spend the day with us creating your very own board game to occupy your time during those long school break days.
  • Dec 30th: We’ll sand, assemble, stencil, and paint our very own perpetual calendars.
  • Dec 31st: Another annual tradition has returned! New Years Party. From decorations to hats to noisemakers, we’ll create all the things to help us bring in the New Year. Complete with an apple cider toast at noon to celebrate!
  • Jan 3rd: New Year, New You. Let’s make a resolution to organize all those maker supplies. We’ll use cardboard and papier-mache to create one-of-a-kind organizers.
