PERFORM AND LEARN VALUABLE COMMUNICATION SKILLS This is fun class that teaches drama and so much more! Each student will have their own hand-picked solo material to work on, as well as a participate in a larger group/ensemble play selected easpecially for the class!

Many children struggle with the everyday art of communication and conversation; valuable skills such as articulation, inflection, eye contact and other non-verbal gestures are some of the cornerstones of effective and confident speech. This class teaches the fundamentals of vocal development and body awareness through work with literary classics including prose, poetry and drama. In this fun and dynamic class students explore their voices and practice exercises and techniques to gain confidence in their ability to effectively communicate both verbally and non verbally. Leadership and collaborative work is also taught.

*Extra rehearsals will be scheduled for November and December and April and May.

On the first day please bring or come in and sign the liability waiver for your kids. This is required before your child can participate. Thank you!

Please bring a 3 ring binder with lined paper, pencils, eraser, highlighter and water bottle to each class.
Please wear comfortable clothing for moving around in. Dresses with tights underneath allowed.
