The Fashion Design Saturday Program:
Dream it, sew it, wear it!
Let your budding Fashion Designers unleash creativity and witness the incredible transformation as they become the designers of their own destiny.
At The Fashion Squad School we believe in the power of your child's unique imagination and their ability to bring their fashion dreams to life.
In our program, children aged 5 and up embark on an exciting journey into the world of fashion:
- They will learn the art of fashion illustration,
- Discover the thrill of selecting fabrics,
- Explore with Fabric Design and discover the world of fabrics, patterns, and textures to create unique and eye-catching designs.
- Learn about Eco-Friendly Fashion and the importance of sustainability by exploring creative ways to recycle and upcycle clothes,
- Master the craft of sewing real clothes and accessories that they can proudly wear,
- Explore the nuances of styling and modeling their own creations,
- Show off their personality during our Modeling Workshop, helping them gain confidence as they model their own creations,

Showcase their extraordinary designs on the Runway !
Our students have the opportunity to participate in a series of Three Fashion Cycles, throughout the school year. At the conclusion of each Fashion Cycle, our students get to showcase their extraordinary designs during our enchanting Fashion Week shows. We extend a warm invitation to family members and friends, who will be thrilled to witness your child's remarkable talents as they confidently strut down the runway, wearing their very own creations!
These cycles include:
- The Fall Cycle (September to December)
- The Winter Cycle (January to March)
- The Spring/Summer Cycle (April to June)
Our classes are designed to be engaging and enriching, with each session lasting two hours (one-hour classes are also available upon request). To make your experience hassle-free, we provide all the necessary supplies, ensuring that your child has everything they need to embark on their fashion journey.
To keep our young designers energized, we offer nut-free snacks during a well-deserved 20-minute break. Rest assured, we take every precaution to create a safe and inclusive environment for all our students.

Notes
We provide snacks during a 15 min break. All snacks are nut free.
Class Requirements
- Our membership tuition will be charged monthly and continuously throughout the school year from September to June.
- The Monthly tuition stays the same each month, regardless of how many classes are in the month.
- The monthly fee is based on an average of 4 classes per month.
- The Tuition will be automatically processed on the 1st day of every month.
- If you wish to pause or cancel your membership, you must send us an email with your request 15 days before your next billing day.
- There are no refunds or credits for classes dropped or missed for any reason once the third class takes place.
- We offer make-up classes to currently registered students for any classes missed during active registration, as long as they are scheduled ahead of time and we have enough space.
- The Fashion Squas School cannot and shall not be held accountable for extreme weather or other unforeseen events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, wars, acts of terrorism, or other force majeure events that, by their nature could not have been foreseen by The Fashion Squad School or, if possible to have been foreseen, are unavoidable, and The Fashion Squad School shall not provide a refund or credit for classes canceled in the case of such events.
- Should CDC or government regulations dictate that In-Studio classes be shut down at any point, or should you decide to pull your child for any reason, there will be no tuition adjustments, discounts, credits or refunds for any registrants beyond the timing stated in this paragraph above.
- The Fashion Squad School will follow the guidance of the NYC public schools, New York City, State and local governments, the Federal government, and/or the safety advisories from New York City (as applicable) in making decisions, which impact our classes.
What you'll learn
- They will develop fine motor skills;
- Sewing will make them use their imagination and creativity;
- Sewing will help them build self-confidence and confidence in their skills;
- With sewing, they'll learn how to be patient;
- Sewing will help them to practice communicating and follow instructions;
- They will learn how to construct and sew real clothes and accessories!
Sample Class Format
- The After School program is a monthly membership. Once the student joins the program, he or she will be able to create anything they want from scratch! They will sketch and design, choose fabrics and trims, sew their project, model it in the fashion show, take it home, and proudly wear it!
Other Things To Know
Your monthly fee will be automatically renewd every 1st of the month. If you decide to pause or discontunie your membership, please provide an email stating you wish to cancel or pause your membership 15 days prior to the next billing day.
