The Greenville Humane Society

Single Classroom Visit

Bring the Greenville Humane Society to your classroom for an engaging, hands-on learning experience! Our 30–45-minute interactive lesson introduces students to topics such as responsible pet ownership, animal safety, animal behavior, and the important role animal shelters play in our community. Designed for classrooms of 30 students or fewer, each visit encourages participation through discussion and interactive activities. When allowed, one of our friendly animal ambassadors will make a special appearance, giving students the opportunity to meet an animal friend up close. After the lesson, students will reinforce what they've learned with a fun, educator-led classroom activity designed to inspire compassion and responsible care for animals.
