Long Form Improv Level 2: Scene Work Made Easy with Jimmy Carrrane
(please note: There is no class on July 20th)
You don’t have to work so hard to improvise good scene work. Sometimes the harder you try the worse it gets. And when that happens you lose your confidence and miss out on the laughs. This class is about making scene work as easy as having a conversation. In this level you will get tools to create hilarious two, three person and group scenes which is the foundation of long form improvisation.
Class Experience:
Making the “game in the scene” simple
Creating real characters with comedic points of view
Starting your scene in the middle
Improvising one line at a time.
This class is appropriate for improvisers who have taken Level 1.
Limited to 16 people.
The last class will be a show for family and friends at Laughing Academy.
Prerequisite is Jimmy Carrane Art of Slow Comedy Level 1.
Please note: There is no class on July 20th.
There will be a performance on Thursday July 27th at 7:30pm for friends and family.
