Lights! Camera! Action! Participants will learn camera operation, directing, and editing, with emphasis on the finer points of film production, including lighting, audio mixing, script writing, and composition. The focus will be giving students the tools and skills they need to pursue their passions and interests through film. We start with making music videos, work with animation and complete an original narrative film by Friday. The last day of class will feature the premiere of the films created during the week.

Tom Knight is a videographer and filmmaker who loves teaching. Besides making videos for musicians and web sites, Tom is also a puppeteer and songwriter and has been performing regularly at schools, libraries and festivals for over 25 years.
