In this class, students will learn techniques of documentary filmmaking, including how to mic and light an interview, shooting B-Roll, and cutting video to reveal a story. Everyone will have opportunities to try their hand at all aspects of the process, including research, writing, directing, editing, and then also being subjects of the interviews. The last day of class will be the premiere of the films created during the week.
