We invite your children to attend year two of Culinary Creations at the M.S.N. Culinary Institute! Students will plan and prepare meals, learn how to bake, sauté, use knives, and clean the kitchen! This year there will be an emphasis on using fresh local ingredients, learning about flavoring and spicing and exploring the history and origins of the meals we make. There will also be some pizza and fun deserts involved! No need to pack your child with a lunch: they cook their own lunch every day of the program.

Born and raised in California, Stephen spent his first summer at MSN in 2018. For the past three years he has been as a naturalist in the Santa Cruz Mountains, leading groups of fifth and sixth grade students on hikes through the redwood forest, and on excursions to the California coast. Stephen's hobbies include hiking, rock climbing, yoga, reading, and especially cooking. In addition to leading outdoor trips at MSN last summer, Stephen also taught Culinary Creations and he's excited to share the joys of cooking with students once more.
