Each Summer Literacy Camp at The Reading Studio is created to support students as they go into their next school year. Each day of this 4 day long camp will have multisensory activities and instruction that is explicit and systematic. Our goal is to increase students' confidence and foster their joy of learning all through strengthening their literacy skills. We also are here to encourage students to “think” about what they are learning, not just memorize. Each day will be fun and engaging for your child!

In Letters & Sounds through PLAY students will practice:

phonological awareness (rhyming, identifying syllables & sounds in spoken words)
fine motor skills
letters & sounds
listening comprehension
background knowledge
school readiness social skills
