RWS Birthday Parties
Celebrate your child’s birthday with an outdoor adventure at Marsh Sanctuary in Mount Kisco! Birthday parties at the Rewilding School include nature-based activities and a campfire experience. Families bring their own food and treats, while our teams provides the activities, instruction, and campfire setup.
[PARTY AVAILABILITY]
Birthday parties are held on Saturdays at Marsh Sanctuary during the timeframes of: 9:30am–11:30am and 1:30pm–4:30pm.
[PARTY PACKAGES]
Pricing is based on the length of your party and number of participants. Your party count includes the birthday child, siblings, and anyone else participating in activities. Birthday parties are available for groups of up to 16 children.
2-Hour Party (1 activity + campfire):
-Up to 10 participants: $460
-Up to 16 participants: $633
3-Hour Party (2 activities + campfire):
-Up to 10 participants: $690
-Up to 16 participants: $870
[REQUESTING A PARTY]
This form is a request for a birthday party. After you submit your request, our team will review your preferred date, time, party size, and activities and follow up to confirm availability and party details.
When completing the form:
1. Provide your best estimate of the number of participants. If you’re unsure, we recommend estimating on the higher side so we can plan appropriate staffing.
2. ADD-ONS/SPECIAL REQUESTS: Include your preferred party time and the themes or activities your child is interested in. For information on our themes, please visit our 'BIRTHDAY PARTIES' website page.
3. CUSTOM THEMES: If you’re interested in a custom theme, tell us about your child’s interests and the types of activities they would enjoy. Custom themes incur an additional 20% cost.

-Reservations: Submitting a party request does not guarantee or reserve your requested date. Your party is reserved once availability has been confirmed by Rewilding School and payment has been received.
-Guest Count: Birthday parties can accommodate up to 16 children. Your guest count includes the birthday child, siblings, and any other children participating in Rewilding School activities. Please provide your best estimate of the number of children attending so we can plan appropriate staffing and prepare for your group. If you’re unsure, we recommend estimating on the higher side.
-Arrival Time: Please plan for all guests to arrive 10–15 minutes early. Parties begin promptly at the scheduled start time, and activities may include hiking to different areas of the property or exploring the forest. Guests arriving 10 minutes or more after the party begins may not be able to join an activity already in progress, but are welcome to join the group for the campfire afterward.
-Activities & Campfire: Your party includes the number of activities included in your selected package, followed by approximately 30 minutes around the campfire. The campfire is designed for light snacks and treats rather than full meals. Families are responsible for bringing anything they would like to roast or prepare over the fire. Popular options include Jiffy Pop popcorn, apple slices, and marshmallows.
-Food & Picnic Area: Families are welcome to bring additional food, drinks, and party treats. Picnic tables are available on site. Marsh Sanctuary is a carry-in/carry-out property with no garbage receptacles. Please plan to take all food, belongings, and trash with you when you leave. One porta-potty is available on site for guests.
-Decorations: To help protect the land and wildlife, please do not bring balloons, confetti, glitter, streamers, or other decorations that could leave debris behind. If you’re unsure whether a decoration is appropriate for the site, please contact us before your party. Thank you for helping us keep Marsh Sanctuary clean and enjoyable for everyone.
-Weather: Our programs take place outdoors and generally run rain or shine, so please plan and dress for the weather. We will only cancel when conditions make outdoor programming unsafe, such as thunderstorms, severe winds, or other hazardous conditions. If Rewilding School cancels your party due to unsafe weather, we will work with you to reschedule for the next available weekend date.
