Class Experience

Street Art History will cover a basic history of street art. Each class will focus on a section of time, from the Pre-1970 - 1980, 1990 - 2000, 2000’s to the present. This course will have some suggested reading and viewing material to enhance your learning.

Class 1: Will briefly cover ancient graffiti and art 500,000 years ago till the rise of christianity. Then fast fwd to 1970-1980 graffiti in its infancy and development.
Class 2: Will cover 1990-2000's the internet and publication age
Class 3: will cover 2000's till present, social media age

Suggested Materials: Composition book for notes, not required.
