Description
Learn new songs, jam in a band, and give a stellar performance in concert! Whether you’re just getting into your instrument, or you have rocked out before, this will be a fun week full of music. Expand your musical ability and vocabulary, including scales, chord progressions and rhythm studies found in today’s popular music. Develop the technique you need to rock out and gain confidence in your stage presence in a welcoming small-group environment.
The camp will culminate in a performance on the Riekes Center recital stage on Friday of the camp week at 2:30 PM. Family and friends are welcome to attend the concert!
Youth Rock Camp is designed for those who play Drums, Bass, Guitar, Keyboards, and Vocals. If you play another instrument, please email bennett@riekes.org to see if we can accommodate you.
Notes:
**CANCELLATION POLICY** If you cancel 30 days or more in advance, you will receive a refund minus a $50 cancellation fee. If you cancel less than 30 days in advance, you will ONLY receive a refund minus a $50 cancellation fee IF your spot is filled by a wait-listed camper; otherwise no refund can be given.
