This year we have a very special project planned for SEW GIVE BACK.  We will be sewing skirts for girls in Foster Care to wear on their first day back to school.  To read more about Skirting The Issue click here to read the blog post by Simple Simon and Company.

How do I participate?
This event is free and open to the public. Thimble Bee's Sewing School will provide every participant at SEW GIVE BACK with access to a sewing machine and all necessary sewing tools to complete one project for charity.  We ask that you bring the materials to complete one skirt (or more if you'd like!)  We will also be collecting school supplies for students in need - please bring paper, notebooks, pencils, or crayons, etc to contribute to our School Supply Drive.

Our goal this year is 25 SKIRTS by the end of the day, July 30th!  All skill levels are welcome from children to adults, beginner to advanced.  Don't sew?  Not a problem, you can cut fabric, measure, iron, or package the completed skirts.  We hope to see you there!
