This 10-week series is an evidenced base course for people who have experienced stress or trauma in their lifetime. Research shows that trauma affects the body on a cellular level with structural changes of the brain. In addition, muscles of the body hold the experience of trauma. The symptoms of trauma can include anxiety, depression, insomnia, panic attacks, fear and a compromised immune system. Unresolved trauma can also lead to relationship difficulties, self-defeating patterns, substance abuse and addiction. This specialized Yoga program addresses the underlying cause of trauma and helps you to restore, recover, and renew rhythmic strength and reconnect with your original self. The classes are a combination of physical and mental exercises, breath work and meditation that were put together to target the areas where trauma is held and the dysregulation of the nervous system.
No Prior Yoga Experience Necessary
