Interested in a career on-camera but are lacking any formal training in acting? This is the class for you. This basic on-camera acting class that will nurture your creativity, allow for organic growth, and give you a strong foundation of acting technique that you can continue to build upon in the Level 1-3 classes.

Who this class is for:

- People curious about acting for film

- Extras who want to book speaking roles

- Models who want to book speaking roles

- Teachers who want to learn acting fundamentals

- Directors who want to learn the language of actors

Through exercises in observation, listening, emotional awareness, and improvisation we build a foundation for you to feel and think as an actor. Students will learn detailed script analysis using intentions, beats, and verbs to put meaning behind the lines you are saying. Each week you will perform scenes on camera using the techniques you are learning while receiving constructive, supportive feedback. It takes courage to get up in front of people and be seen and heard. This is a wonderful starter class to test the waters, feel supported in your creativity, and learn the fundamental skills of being an actor.

**A note on our waitlists: If a class is sold out, we HIGHLY recommend you join the waitlist. Folks on the waitlist get in all the time to classes. Additionally, if we have the demand, we might open up additional sections of a class and the waitlist always gets first dibs on those. Waitlists work!
