Class Experience

One of our most popular panel sessions becomes a three part informational series this spring! You can attend just one session or sign up for them all.

Week 1 (May 16th) - Agent Zach Gray, who moved from Chicago to Los Angeles to open Gray Talent Group LA in 2016, provides insight to actors thinking about making the daunting move to the west coast and changing or shifting representation.

Week 2 (May 23rd) - Casting Director Shelby Cherniet, CSA, who is currently living in LA and working on casting for producers such as FX and Netflix (to name a few), will talk about projects, protocol and getting in the room in the city with largest TV and Film market out there.

Week 3 (May 30th)- Actor Behzad Dabu, who moved from Chicago to LA will share his journey, answer questions from the actor perspective, and share his tips on pursuing a career in acting on the west coast.

This three week session will offer an honest assessment of the struggles, landscape and work it takes to transition into the Los Angeles market. It will cover everything from common traps to avoid, to marketing yourself in a way that's appropriate for the market. This honest and informative session can help you discern if/when the move to Los Angeles is right for you. Buy all three or drop in for the sessions you want.
