Description
In this course, students will consider the wonderful amazingness & weirdness of human and animal bodies. Half of the course will focus on the theme of personal identity and push students to consider the strange alien beauty of our physical features. The other half of the course will focus the incredible nature of animals and their adaptive traits. Students will learn about specific species and how their senses differ from ours. Students will explore a range of media throughout the class such as collage, drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture projects.
Notes:
• Late policy: For every 15 minutes that a child is waiting after the end of class/extended art, there will be a $5 late charge. Thank you for respecting the time of our teaching artists.
• When packing snacks for your child after school, please note that the Vibe Studio is a NUT FREE space for the safety of some of our artists who have severe allergies. Thank you for understanding.
