Description
In this art camp for 6-12 year olds, students will explore Pop Art by learning about different artists in the Pop Art scene like Andy Warhol, Wayne Theibaud, Yayoi Kasuma and others while also creating original 2-D and 3-D Pop! artwork.
Tentative Schedule of Camp (subject to change):
9 a.m. - intro
9:10-10:15 - Group A Art Session I , Group B Art Session II
10:20-10:40 : snack break
10:45- 11:55 : Group B Art Session I, Group A Art Session II
12-12:40 : lunch and play break
12:45-1:50 : Group A - Art III , Group B Art IV
1:55-3 p.m. : Group B Art IV, Group A Art III.
Notes:
- Please pack a NUT FREE snack for your camper to enjoy 1/2 way through the camp. - Have your child bring a lunch that is NUT FREE to have during the lunch hour. - Also have your child bring a light jacket and water bottle. - If the weather is warm & sunny, please make sure your artist has sunscreen applied before coming to camp. - After eating lunch we will walk across the street to play at the park. If your artist wants to bring a soccer ball or other outdoor toys to share with friends for this recreational time, that is encouraged.
