Advanced Preschool for the Arts concentrates on preparing children academically in letters, reading, math, handwriting and more for attending Kindergarten the following year. Nothing beats a great foundation!

School wide, we have adopted The Good and the Beautiful curriculum. This curriculum will reference Judeo-Christian stories, values and Jesus. We welcome all faiths at the Virginia Beach School of the Arts. Please know the Christmas program will have religious songs and readings.

Please accept the Class Dojo invite your teacher will mail to you. We communicate on Dojo practically daily about class activities, homework, upcoming events and school wide news. Please also make sure you are receiving the email newsletter which goes out several times monthly.
Please attend the PTO meetings to stay informed and active.
Any student who has had a cough, fever, unexplained rash, any communicable disease, profuse runny nose from allergies, or has vomited in the last 12 hours is not allowed to attend classes or activities.
The Virginia Beach School of the Arts is a nut free school. Please do not send peanuts or any other food to school that contains nuts including granola bars.
Water only is allowed in sippy cups/sports bottles.
Yogurt, fruit cups, squeeze fruit bags and any snack that is wet, mushy or needs to be eaten with a spoon, straw or poses a slipping hazard is not allowed. Only dry foods such as crackers, apple wedges, banana, cheese or goldfish are permitted.
Tuition in full is due monthly regardless of attendance or lack thereof due to illness, vacations, holidays or inclement weather.
If a child withdraws, the full monthly amount of tuition from September through May is due with the exception of a military transfer. If a parent is getting transferred, one month’s written notification is required to be released from the 9 month contract.
The supply fee and tuition are non refundable.
By enrolling in any program at the Virginia Beach School of the Arts, you are allowing your child to be photographed which may appear on a social media platform or print advertising.
Your child's supply fee accompanied by this registration form will reserve your child's spot.
I understand that I will need to purchase my child's curriculum. Parents will be contacted by the curriculum coordinator for ordering instructions. The cost will be around $200-$300 which includes, textbooks, workbooks, readers and other supplies needed for a complete and successful curriculum.
Homeschool Unlimited at the Virginia Beach School of the Arts is designed to assist parents who have chosen to homeschool their own child and consequently is not overseen, inspected, licensed or accredited by any federal, state or local government agency.
Classes are non-refundable but we are happy to reschedul you in another class. One month written notice is required for withdrawal.
