SEWING FOR A CAUSE- Dress Workshop is a video lesson for a charitable cause. Learn step by step how to sew a dress to be donated to children in need, around the world, through GLOBAL OUTREACH INC. Materials are provided, along with the video lesson and certificate of completion. Sewing machine is required for this project. This is for the advanced-beginner sewer, and up. Basic sewing skills are needed. We will cover learning how to create an elastic casing, bias tape trim, and a hem, while sewing a dress from pre-cut fabric. This charitable workshop is great for H.S/college/job applications.

Judy Bowerman of Jam Jam Designs teaches the groundwork for young sewers to grow and gain confidence. She is a costume designer for the film industry. She has taught many thousands of kids, teens and adults for almost 20 years, in and out of our studio and colleges.
