**Learn to carve a wooden spoon, led by one of our team members, or bring a project you've been working on, in this laid-back class at our HQ in downtown Anchorage, AK**
Grab a coffee or tea at the next door cafe and meet up with us for one Monday, or every Monday, and learn to hone your wooden spoon-carving skills. Wooden spoons make a great lightweight, sustainable item to bring on your wilderness adventures, they are a beautiful item to add to your arsenal of cooking utensils at home, and they make wonderful hand-made gifts for family and friends.
This is a great course if you are visiting Alaska and are looking for a laid-back class where you can meet locals and get insider info about most outdoors and Alaska-related questions. It is also a great course for locals if you are looking to learn a new skill, also get tips and share your knowledge with others, and meet new friends with whom you can plot new adventures while you carve spoons together.
Have a baby or young kids in tow? No problem, this is a course for all ages to come together. We have children's games and toys and a reading corner they can enjoy while you work on your spoon.
This is meant to be a multi-generational environment where all ages can share wisdom and knowledge while we carve our own unique pieces.
**Don't have carving tools and wood? No problem - use ours, buy some from us, or bring your own!**
We follow all CDC guidelines and standards. Our programs are all 100% outdoors, we wear masks, and our guides have received their vaccines.
